Who is DentalFinance for?
DentalFinance is built for dental practice owners, practice managers, and anyone responsible
for the commercial side of a clinic — including new practice founders who need structured
financial reporting from day one.
Which Excel files can be imported?
The platform imports structured daily report Excel files (.xlsx / .xlsm) containing billing
and performance data. After registration, configure your treatments, labs, and doctors so
imports can be processed correctly.
Is patient data required?
No. DentalFinance is designed for financial and operational practice data — not patient
records. It should not be used to store identifiable patient information.
Can I configure treatments and lab costs myself?
Yes. You can manage treatments, prices, labs, and lab price schedules through the
configuration area. The platform uses these settings when calculating costs during import
and reporting.
Are different practices' data kept separate?
Yes. Each practice is a separate tenant. Users only see data belonging to their own clinic —
there is no shared view across practices.
Can I export reports?
Yes. After importing a daily report, you can download a Server Income Excel export with
per-doctor income breakdowns. Extraction logs can also be downloaded as JSON for audit
purposes.
Do I need special technical skills?
No development skills are required. If you can prepare your practice Excel file and manage
basic configuration (treatments, labs, users), you can use the platform. Initial setup is
guided through the configuration dashboard.
